    Hi there,

Just been offered an interview at the Uni of Bath for a postgrad in Interpreting and Translating. I was wondering if anyone does this course, or has any idea of what an interview will entail? I've never had one before! thanks for any help!

Hi Zoe, sorry to see you didn't get any replies to your original post! I've just been invited to do a Skype interview with Bath for the MA in Interpreting and Translating in a couple of weeks, would you mind sharing a little on how your interview went, whether it was formal or informal, sorts of questions asked...?

    Hey Lucy,
I can't say much as I expect this post would then be deleted, but I wouldn't worry at all about the interview- the questions they ask are obvious ones and it is conducted in English - There is a big emphasis on the quality of your English rather than your abilities in your foreign languages as of course all translation and interpretation is into your mother-tongue! Good luck and maybe see you in September xx

Hey Zoe - thank you for what info you could provide! I was just curious as I've never had a skype interview before, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Another question - did you apply for the Arts and Humanities Research Council funding? If so, do you know how that works? Will we hear from them directly? Totally bamboozled by all this!
