I'm currently in the process of withdrawing from uni in order to start a different course at another university but my department head is being slow at getting back to me on my withdrawal forms. The deadline for firming my other uni is looming near and I'm worried that I cant firm them on UCAS without withdrawing from my current uni. Or will firming them on UCAS automatically cancel my place at my current uni?
Do I have to withdraw from my current uni before firming another one? Watch

None of the above.
You can firm without withdrawing, but it will not automatically cancel your place.

UCAS isnt interested in the Uni you are currently studying at. They are only interested in you current application. You can Firm the other Uni without it affecting your current Uni place.
