Hello. I know this is an old post but I am having the same dilemma at the moment and I was wondering which university you chose and the reasons?

I'm not the OP, but one reason I cna give you for choosing Imperial is that when Time magazine made their rankings for the best universities in Europe a few days ago. ICL was #3 and UCL was #5.

But it could be argued that UCL ranks higher on the QS World Rankings. I'm biased though since I'm a UCL student already.

I'd rather use the rankings from a magazine my future employer reads. Not being rude, but that's my reasoning lol. Forbes quote rankings from TIME magazine too.

Forget rankings. Especially forget general rankings. LSHTM is the best for public health and doesn't appear in league tables because it's just so specialised. Regardless, if you're choosing between UCL and Imperial and you already go to UCL, I would consider that there could be a benefit in switching universities - being in the same place for undergrad and postgrad, unless you have a clear research aim, might look as if you're too happy being in the same place and not going outside of the 'bubble' as it were.

That's a very good point. Thank you!
