I need some reassurance. I need to get a C in Advanced Biology and a B in Higher Chemistry to be accepted, but what if I get a D in Biolody and an A in Chemistry? will that be ok?
I'm pretty sure I'll get at least a C for Biology, it wasn't that bad. But I'm so paranoid!! Anyone been accepted on lower grades for any science courses??

If your personal statement was strong, you should be ok. I have many friends at uni who didn't get the exact grades they needed in certain subjects and they still got in.

I suppose it'll be different for each university but the grades aren't the only thing they'll take into account.

I definately went in all guns blazing with my personal statement!
I'm sure they loved me after reading it, the entry requirements were BBB but I got an offer even though I'd only got CCDD and a fail in my highers.
Ha ha ha!!

This depends on the course and the university. And at the end of the day, taking any assurances from us would be giving yourself false confidence. Contact the university and ask them directly. Best of luck mate.

What course did you apply for? If it's something biology related, you might have a problem, but otherwise, although it depends on how many others miss the grades, you should still have a pretty good chance of being accepted as the A should balance it out.

It's Forensic Science, and they definately want a B in chemistry, so that's the most important.

You'll be higher in the pile of missed offers if you've exceeded some bits and only missed others.

If you've got a good reason for possibly missing it, then tell the uni now. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait.

I'm sure I'll be ok. I don't see any reason to get less than a C, the exam wasn't that bad so maybe I need to relax.
