Hey, how did it go for you?

I thought it went ok, lost a couple of marks on one question for sure.

I have 0.095168374 as one answer (I guess that was the Standard Deviation). What did you get for the last 3 mark Probability question? I think I got that royally wrong I got a nice fraction, and a high one too. 2/3 or something.

Q1 I mentioned: you could compare the quartiles... Quartile Range gave an idea of the spread, you could find the extreme values and the anomalies... . And also compare the range biggest - smallest value. For three marks would have they given it to me? I don't think I mentioned the Skewness tss even though I described it.

I thought that went brilliantly. Was hoping the major probability question would be a venn diagram one and it was :smile:

Hopefully 95UMS plus. Downside being most of our group found it easy so probably higher grade boundaries.

Very last probability question i got 2/3

For the normal distribution question, i got:
mean = 1.6999 (approx 1.7)
standard deviation = 0.09...smthn
And the probability for that question was 0.3 smthn

For the distribution method: I think they wanted us to use the last table: the one with the values of P(Z>z)=0.20000 and P(Z>z)=0.30000. Was I right?

For the very last probability question I got 46/59? :confused:
The others seem to fit with everyone else answers, yeah I got the mean heigh that boy could jump to be 1.700m or something.
It was the writy kinda questions I probs lost marks on cos I always ramble

I found it really hard and so did most of the people in my school. I definitely mucked up the normal distribution question but on the last probability i got 2/3. I'll be happy if i come out with a C =)

Yeah I agree with the 0.3... it also made sense.

I think a lot of people lost marks on the first question, last part with the 4 marks. Compare and Evaluate was it?

But i didn’t get your answer for S.D and mean. :frown: Oh i must have worked it out wrong! nooo! I took the probabilities of 0.2 and 0.3 from the table but i got something like 1.44 for mean and 0.4...something for S.D which is clearly wrong. :frown:
I panicked so much because I ran out of time- it was potentially and easy exam too- damn.

i found it very easy, although it was abit different from other papers. there were only 6 questions, and last 1 was the easiest, well actually the uniform distribution was easier, but bother very easy.

the most difficult question was the regression. i can remember what i had.

yea i think i had 0.04......

for a before adding 14600 i had something like 0.3321, cant remember exatly tho.
