What do you have so far?

The very first thing to do, if you haven't already, is to define a 'superpower' and ask which countries that might include. Why do they have that status?

The political clout of a country is usually formed of a composite of economic factors (including volumes of trade, control of trade, dominance of particular markets, availability of investable capital etc), military power and influence in international relations, all of which interrelate.
