Lancaster vs Essex

Hi, I've been made an offer to study LLB Law at Lancaster and Essex.
I really don't know which one to choose because each one has its pros and cons.

I'm interest in the legal practice and also the job opportunities that can be found in Lancaster.

Does anyone know more about both of them?

Thanks
Undoubtedly Lancaster. It's much more prestigious and very highly-ranked as a top ten University, while Essex is very low in reputation. University that is roughly in the same level of Lancaster should be Exeter , York , Bath , Bristol , Edinburgh, Nottingham instead.

By job opportunities, do you mean part-time work, job opportunities?

Lancaster's not the easiest place to find a job, cos with 2 uni's the proportion of students-to-general workers is pretty high. That said, I'd say everyone I know who's properly put the effort in has found something eventually, it might just be a bit harder to come by then in a bigger city.

By job opportunities I mean finding a place to work while I am a student, but also after I graduate. I've also heard something about recruitment companies that constantly visit the university.

I would also take into account the internships available in Lancaster and Essex even though I am thinking to go fo Lancaster, finally.

In terms of job prospects and internships whilst you're studying essex is going to be a good choice because of the proximity to London. That said, I'm from Essex and have come to study at Lancaster and love it. Reputation wise Lancaster is a much better uni and so will put you in better standing in the long run.

non-sence. Lancster is not more prestigious university, simply because it does not have a long history.
