On my recent visit i noticed the stupendous amount of visitors who walk around the dining halls, quads and chapels during term.
Well to honest this isn't going to be much of a problem for you at St Peter's  .

****ing tourists.

It's quite bad at King's, but as people have said, I get a lot of pleasure from walking through gates marked private or using my gate key to get past a load of people staring at the chapel.

I think we all agree that Oxbridge students are a higher form of life.

We non-Oxbridge (or 'scum') are barely hominid, you are superhuman.

Glad you see it my way.

I want a "No I don't want a ****ing punt tour" T-Shirt. For the japery that would result.

I want a T-shirt like this:

A print of the league tables in the background (Oxford in prime position) with tagline: Oxford University, 'Its Lonely at the Top'.

Or you could just go the normal route and have a sign saying "Kick me" on your back.

Why don't you get one with the Norrington table instead?

Oh wait...

(note, smiley is irrelevant but I like it anyway)

Ooooh, comeback! Any retort Bluefuture?

Hmm..let me think.

Somehow the 'Norrington table' wouldn't have the same ring to it. Nor would the tourists have the slightest clue what it reffered to. Neither would it impress even those who understood it. What it would really be stating is:

'look at my geeky self: I go to a swat's college'

Come to think of it, how about a T-shirt saying:

'St Peter's College..Oxford without the bull****.'
Drogue
that people doing well at their studies is looked up upon,

I think you'll find that happens anywhere over the age of 16.

At school, it's cool to be clever but an underachiever. After that, underachieve and no one gives a ****.

LOL, ROFL, LMAO... etc.

If only...
In my experience it does.

And I haven't been brought up/been taught anywhere other than working class throughout my life.

Not the the extent that not coming out in order to work is considered understandable, and that people who do really well become popular for doing really well. I've explained it badly, but IMO, very few places is doing well academically looked so well upon as here.
I take it you've been to a few places then?

Whilst I understand what you are trying to say, I disagree wholeheartedly. Oxford, as great as it is, is not the be all and end all of academia. There are other places where doing well academically is revered. To think otherwise is naive.
