OXBRIDGE AND TOURISTS-Irritating or Ego boosting?

Drogue defended himself against your onslaught, and suddenly you decide to withdraw from the argument altogether, claiming it to be "ad nauseam". Looks very much as if you couldn't think of anything more to say that would enable you to win an argument you'd been losing all along because you kept labouring the same point. And yes, it was me who neg repped you. Getting a bit fed up of your argumentative posts, you seem to enjoy being unpleasant for the sake of it - you seem to have a bit of a bee in your bonnet about people who love Oxford, I've been on the receiving end of it as well.

It's no crime to be proud of the institution that you're in or glorify it - in fact, I'd say props to Drogue for being so intent on his views!

Drogue has obviously managed to defend his position very convincingly and that's simply because there's nothing wrong with whatever he's doing.
