Vectors please help :)

Hi, I have the equation

ax+by+cz=d

where a,b,c and d are ALL vectors.

the question says find x,y and z in terms of these vectors by using appropriate scalar and vector products.

if you take the cross product between a and b you get a vector perpendicular to both. if you then dot product this vector by the whole equation the a and b terms will disappear and you can solve the result for z. Then do the same thing with the two other pairs....
