OCR A AS chemistry help?

I have a few questions :
First being, explain in detail what a sigma bond is and what a pi bond is? And how they work?
Also could someone describe how margarine is produced?
Finally on a mass spectrum what does the tallest peak represent? ( it says relative intensity, not to sure what that means? )
Anyone that can answer will be a big big help, thank you all
Hi, as far as I am aware a sigma bond is a normal covalent band and a pi bond occurs when to electrons in p orbitals overlap sideways, margarine is made via the haber process from the hydrogen obtained from hydrogenation and the tallest peak on a mass spectrum indicates that, that is the mass of the majority of the isotopes in that element sample :-)

Hey

Margarine is produced by the hydrogenation of an alkene, at high temperature and pressure with a nickel catalyst, i dont remember the exact figures so you'll need to consult your textbook
