i am a English teacher and to get b grade you need to get 52 in your exam to get overall b
I got 9/10 (c) for poetry, 9+8 for creative writing (d/c), 10 (c) for mice n men , 12(b) for romeo n juliet and 11 & 9 for creative writing.what do i need for my exam
The conversion of raw marks to UMS won't have been decided yet as it changes each year ...
I am a teacher of English. In order to obtain a grade B overall for English Language you must have a total UMS score of 210 - I think. This means that your controlled assessments need to be of a grade A/B standard, which they are.
If you got a high B for your controlled assessments then that would be about 80 UMS and with an A in all of your speaking and listening assessments you should have gained another 49 UMS.
48/80 in the exam is grade C/B borderline. However, with 129 UMS, I think that you would be able to obtain a low B overall.
