Can I draw 2 maximum slopes and take an average

Basically, the maximum slope is not going through all my error bars but if I drew a second one it would go through the remaining error bars. Is this allowed?
If by "maximum" you mean "worst" slope then it should still go through all the error bars.
The best slope will do so as well, of course, but be as close as possible to all the data points.

It's a bit of a vague question. A graphic showing the lines and a bit more information would help.

Thanks. I have a drew a slope but it's only going through half of the points. It still gives me a value close to my best fit value when I add max and min slope and divide by 2 which is what is asked for.
