Thermal decomposition equation

What is the equation for the thermal decomposition of sodium hydrogencarbonate when reacted with HCl:

I got this far:
NaHCO3(g) + HCl (l) -> Something(aq) + CO2(g) + H2O(l)

what is the something? Thank you :smile:

Can you not see what the only part on the left is missing? (Also this isn't a thermal decomposition) :tongue:

oh LOL now I think of it it's so obvious, it's NaCl right? I think I was just rushing my revision! Yes it's not thermal decomposition, it's the enthalpy of neutralisation :smile:
