    Hey,
    Is anyone else doing tectonic activity and hazards for their choice in Unit 4?
    If so, feel free to post here with tips, case studies and help!

    These are the case studies i'm doing:
    Volcanoes:
    (LEDC) Montserrat:
    (LEDC) Nevada Del Ruiz:
    (HEDC)
    (Mount Pinatubo)

    Tsunami:
    Japan 2011:
    Boxing Day tsunami (2004):

    Earthquakes:
    Haiti:
    Chilean Earthquake (1960):
    Loma Pietà:
    Kobe:

    Does anyone have any ideas on how i should structure it?
    Thanks!

    I'm splitting it in to the 3 types of tectonic hazard; earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis and then doing variation of developed, developing and LDC case studies to show the wide range of development aspect of the pre-release.
    The case studies I am doing include:
    Earquakes;
    Developed - Northridge, California (1994)
    LDC - Haiti (2010)
    Volcanoes;
    Developed - Eyjafjallajokull, Iceland (2011)
    LDC - Mt. Pinatubo (1991)
    Tsunamis;
    Developed - Japan (2011)
    Developed - Boxing day tsunami (2004) but I'm focusing on India (my teache rsaid that it is best to focus on just one particular area for this disaster)

    I think I will be using Parks model as well
