7ii my answer was in terms of y why have they given there answer is terms of x is my answer still correct?

Well I can see why they have given it in terms of x but I thought it didn't matter which variable you used?

Must be a typo, there is no x in 7ii) so they must have meant y. Using x would be inncorrect.
