It's time consuming. You have to be quite dedicated to the course to do well consistently. Some subjects are more difficult than others. People's opinions vary. I thought Jurisprudence was a nightmare, my mate found it to be her most enjoyable subject.
That varies from person to person. It also depends on which subjects you're reading. I personally loved Public International law and IP law and loathed technical subjects like property and contracts.
I'm in my final-year of my law degree. Have three exams to go! Am considering doing an LLM next year, or maybe just taking a year off before I start the LPC.
No idea, yet. I like IP law but it's practice can be quite restrictive. I'm going to wait until I start my training contract to decide where I would like to specialise. I think I'll probably end up in litigation or international arbitration though.
The cases are too...vivid. Some of them dealt with a lot of heavy subject matter that I wouldn't want to practice. It's also very statute-based and technical in terms of determining culpability and the rules surrounding it are quite cumbersome. Like I said, not my cup of tea.
