Yeah I'm taking it too. i'm preparing by doing past papers and exercises on kerboodle. Is anyone else doing Maria Full of Grace for the cultural topic?

It is a bit annoying that exams for this module are only taken in June so there aren't that many past papers. I wish there were more!

I'm doing this exam too! I've studied 'Volver' (film) and 'La Casa de Bernarda Alba' (play) as my cultural topics, but I think I'll probably just talk about the film in the actual exam

yeah ive seen volver, i like it - but we couldnt study it- La casa is good because of all the symbolism it has etc, but i might do Andalucia, which is my cultural topic, is anyone else studying it?

According to examiner's reports, La casa de Bernarda Alba is the most popular cultural topic to write about. Although personally I'm leaning towards writing about a director instead.

You're doing that? nope sorry i dont, we've just been told to focus on what it brings, has to offer etc, which is good because most of it is just common sense haha! Are you doing AQA ? X

I'm studying 'Como Agua Para Chocolate' (book) and Diarios de Motocicleta (film).

The hardest bit I think is remembering quotes!

Buena suerte a todos!
I'm doing La Casa De Bernarda Alba as my play, then El Laberinto Del Fauno for film.
I agree with everyone else that La Casa is the easiest.

Are the questions pretty much the same every year?

How are people finding translations?

This is by far the worst aspect of the exam for me, particularly the English into Spanish. I'm so concerned about losing more than half of the marks. Does anyone have any idea which of the topics is more likely to come up? I wish I could find some vocab sheets with words which often come up on these sentences, or at least a list of grammar points to look out for e.g. subjunctive phrases which are commonly used. At the moment I'm just working through AQA's online examples. starting to panic, Tuesday is not far now

Just wondering if anyone had any predictions as to what the region essay titles could be..,
