I am thinking of transferring from medicine into natural science and wondered what peoples reasons is for choosing natural science? roughly what the contact hours at unis are and how stressful it is?

I wanted to do medicine at uni but i am actually really considering to do natural sciences 
im in yr 12 btw and natural sciences is so appealing just because of the vast options/routes you can take with it are currently studying medicine at uni?
