    Hey guys

    I am completely stuck. I would really appreciate the help.

    The function g is given by g(x)=log(x-3), 4≤x≤10
    find the value of g(4)
    and state the domain of a function
    State the range of the function

    Find the value of g(4)

    I'm sure you know how to do this.

    The domain of the function is the set of values X can take for the function to work. Some functions can take all real numbers for example, therefore any number can be used in the function. In this case, X can only take a few values for X. Do you know what values X can take for function g(x) to work? When you do, write the values down like this:

    Domain: [X1, X2, X3....]

    The range on the other hand is the set of values that come out of the function given the domain. That means that every value in the domain has a value allocated to a value in the range. Write the values of the range like this.

    Range : [g(X1), g(X2), g(X3)....]
