Have you already considered studying in the Netherlands? For instance, at Radboud University, we offer a 2-year programme in Chemistry, with a specialisation in Physical Chemistry of Molecules and Materials (www.ru.nl/masters/chemistry/). It's completely English-taught and tuition fees are approx. 1550 pounds p/y. There is no handling/application fee for EU/EEA students, so you can easily find out whether you are suitable for this programme. Another possibility could be Natural Sciences (www.ru.nl/masters/naturalsciences), which is a combination of Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Together with the supervisor, you can find the specialisation that fits you and your background.
There are other good options in the Netherlands as well, have a look at www.studyinholland.nl. 12 out of 13 of our Research Universities are in the top-200 of the Times Higher Education Rankings, so you can be guaranteed a good quality degree.
All the best,
Radboud University Nijmegen
