ive had to change my monologue for my exam and it's from '66 Books' which IS published which is good, the only thing is it was made for the Bush Theater and ran for one 24 hour show, it's made up of small performances but the way the text is set out makes you think that each performance is more like another scene than another performance entirely. And throughout the whole 24 hours there is one interval and this all makes me think (as well as the fact its all in one text) that i could use it, but i'm just wondering about technicalities, so if anyone knows anything it would be a great help

By technicalities do you mean whether this monologue is suitable or not? I think it would most likely be suitable, I mean it's up to you what you do with it but it is generally better if you complete the whole monologue rather than starting and stopping where it suits you best. I think that at AS monologues that run over 2 minutes are sort of frowned upon and duologues that run over 5 are too.

Last year I did a duologue from The Pride of Miss Jean Brodie but I know that some people don't have the faith that I did in my partner, so using monologues in generally more well liked. Erm...My friend did Adam from D.N.A last year which was absolutely amazing. I think you can have a look at some monologues done by previous candidates on youtube but I'm not sure - if you wanted tips or whatever?
