I think this video clip, while being from a US drama, makes a fantastic point about why people shouldn't condemn homosexuality just because religious texts, especially the Bible, supposedly say it should be. Skip to 35 seconds to get to the point.

Leaving aside for the moment the actual question of the 'rightness' or 'wrongness,' of being gay, if indeed those are even applicable terms, it is worth pointing out that this--at best--would only demonstrate that people who cite the bible to argue that homosexuality is wrong are not being consistent. It does not address the validity of the biblical argument itself, nor does it address any other potential objections.

Disregarding the clip, just looking at the title - who said it was 'wrong'?

Strange, I have been in most of the threads on the topic recently and haven't noticed any religious text being quoted.

You are not aware the monotheistic religions or many of its followers claim homosexuality is not the will of God, Allah etc? There is a world outside of TSR.
