    PLEASE HELP! i got 80 on unit 1 biology, 83 on unit 2 and only got 33/50 on my biology transpiration isa. What mark would i need to get on b3 to get and overall A? please please help, much appreciated!

    Not entirely sure as boundaries change etc, if you aim for UMS 85+ you should be okay, just aim to do your best and Im sure you'll get an A, good luck!

    There aren't any set grade boundaries for the ISA as of yet (they won't be out until August), so I'm going to assume 33 marks = 66 UMS. This is the lowest possible UMS you'll achieve as the UMS boundaries will probably be much higher.

    You need 320/400 UMS overall to get an A grade.

    So 80+83+66= 229

    320-229 = 91 UMS. You'll need around 91 UMS in Biology 3 (a low A*) Best of luck!

    220= A boundary on AQA's spec for current year 11. So 91 to get an A just, in the worst case scenario of the ISA being only 66.
