So I'm looking for a good screen recorder that will record the audio from whatever I'm recording. The problem is that the programs I've tried so far record the audio using the microphone and it's really bad quality audio. How can I record the audio directly from the computer/is there a program for this?

Capture card for a PC? Might have to use some adapters or something?
Or some software liked this: http://www.wondershare.com/screen-re...ith-sound.html
Seems legit but double check, was only found with a quick google.

Most sound cards have a built in "stereo mix" source which allows you to capture sound on your computer. If you don't have this, I recommend using http://obsproject.com/ (Open Broadcaster Software), which involves a little bit of setting up, but can record your screen and sound. I use it to stream games and development

It sounds like you want to record a game...
But yeah, Fraps does what you're asking. If that doesn't come up to your needs Camtasia and Hypercam do the job as well.
