I'm retaking my AS English Literature exam at my school for the second time and I was told by my school "Oh don't worry, they'll be questions on The World's Wife you won't need to learn Feminine Gospels" So I've happily revised The World's Wife with the intention of getting an A on the exam, handing in countless practice essays and getting Bs an As, so I was feeling pretty confident about it all.

I got my exam timetable in tutor on Thursday with a note attached saying to report to English Office ASAP, when I got there the head of English said "Yeah, you have about a week to learn Feminine Gospels, we've checked your timetables and we can't do any AS sessions for you as your A2 exam is so important."

So yeah, I need help. Could anyone studying or teaching Feminine Gospels possibly link me to any resources or give me a list of the main themes in the anthology? Any help would be appreciated really, I've only just got the book today (I had to get a Wonga loan to get it from WHSmith today xD) and I haven't had time to read them all yet but I've read "The Virgin's Memo", "Death and the Moon" and "The Long Queen".

Thank you,
Zach

Oh my god that isn't good :/ but luckily you don't need to learn all of them

This website analyses The Long Queen, Work, The Woman who Shopped, The Laughter of Stafford Girls' High, The Diet and The Map Woman.

Here's a quick presentation on context and other stuff: https://prezi.com/svdcqfsdv5qt/carol...inine-gospels/

Here's a mindmap with an overview of which themes go to which poems and mention a bit about poetical devices: http://getrevising.co.uk/diagrams/fe...arol_ann_duffy

And good luck!
