    Hi everyone,

I just applied for SAAS maybe a month ago and got a letter saying I'll be getting 4500 as a student loan. I'm studying Economics at Glasgow University and have a single mum who only works part time and I think I'm entitled to a bursary as well as a loan. However, I've still not heard anything about the bursary and I'm getting concerned.

Can anyone shed any light on how you apply for the bursary or when you find out about it??

Also, on the SAAS website it says household incomes of under 16,999 are entitled to 5500 and that is the category I fall into? Why have I only got 4500 or has there been changes to the funding??

    Thanks

Did you get your Mum to fill in the section about income details?
