Hope I'm not breaking the rules because it's AQA board.

Firstly I found the reading quite easy and not much challenge. I would estimate about 35-38/45 for an A*

The Listening was HORRIBLE! It started off very easy, and when it comes to that embarrassment question it just becomes nasty. I think most people did awful on that paper therefore I would say about 25/40 for A* compared to Jan paper.
That school question is also very hard. I put DG and EA which was probably wrong

    Anyone agrees?

I found the Listening paper alright, and the Reading was quite easy in comparison.

I can't exactly remember the school question, but I think my answer was something similar to yours.

I agree too. Listening was good up until the embarrasing problems question...hoping for low grade boundaries maybe 24ish for an A*. Reading was easier definitely!

I needed 35 and 36 in those exams to get an A* over all. I have probably got that in the reading. But the listening... That was so hard. There's no way I did well in that. It got too hard too quickly. I did some of the past papers for revision and NONE of them were as hard as that. How can it vary so much in just one year? And how can the reading difficulty vary so much to the listening? Does a lowering of the grade boundaries lower the marks needed in the final exam to get certain grades? Seriously worried.

I think grade boundaries are undefined until they see how everyone did.
