I was wondering what the difference is between a graduate and a post graduate. While I'm here I was also wondering what the difference is between a bachelors, masters and a phd.

    To put it really simply:

    There are undergraduates and postgraduates.
Undergraduates are typically students pursuing a BA or BSc (Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science), and this is typically the first degree you take.

The two most common postgraduate degrees taken are the MA/MSc. These can be either research based or taught. Then there's the PhD and MPhil, which are independent research projected aimed at uncovering new information in a particular field and publishing these findings.

That's a very broad outline, and I haven't got that much experience to be able to advise you much further.
