    Our teacher has told us to look at the top 10 grossing films of all times and how their characteristics, e.g. genre, director, stars?, etc is different to critically successful films as a start for case studies

    I talked about love film and Internet illegal downloads (piracy) for the internet thing also social networks (twitter). In the British section I talked about east is east and trainspotting. US study I talked about American beauty and revolutionary rd

    Yeah I talked about love film and netflix and illegal downloading as well, and also imdb. I also talked a bit about conglomerates and the power they have over the internet and media in general etc

    Wow those are good films, I wish I got to do them I did do my coursework on American Beauty though! We did Alfie and If... for the British topic, in the cultural 'swing sixties' topic, and Little Miss Sunshine and The Grapes Of Wrath for the US comparative topic. I did the question about similar themes for USA

    I did the representation of the characters in '28 days later' and 'Shaun of the dead' and for the american section i did the question on themes with the films 'Mildred Pierce' and 'The Usual Suspects.
