Okay, so I'm doing my AS's currently. I've got 9 exams this summer due to resists (simply from not applying myself to meet the new demands which A-levels bring) and I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to go to the University of Manchester and there are a number of courses which have caught my eye here.

The problem I have is I fear I may not meet the entry grades required to enter any of these courses and on top of that I don't know how strict Manchester are with entries!

I am studying; Chemistry, Maths, Biology and Physics (AS)

and my grades in January were:
    Chemistry - C
    Biology - C
    Physics - C
    Maths - B

Can someone please let me know how strict Manchester are with entries/ give me any advice on my situation?!?!?!?!

You will be judged on your completed A level grades unless the Uni states otherwise and gives specific AS grades as a requirement. Check the course page on the Uni website and look carefully at the Admissions Requirements for that course. Remember - every Uni will have different requirements.

If a Uni says it wants AAA, then that is what they want. No exceptions. If you have no chance of those grades, then you'll have to adjust your ambitions.
