Lately, I've noticed that I don't feel like myself anymore, as in, my eyes feel heavier than usual. So i've tried to go to sleep early and wake up at a normal time but that hasn't helped at all. I also have exams but I doubt it has anything to do with it, I felt that I lacked motivation before but it doesn't seem to be it.. help?

It could well be exams as revision uses loyts of energy; more than you might realise. You might also find yourself hungrier than usual, as I have, because you need the extra energy to think. Don't be afraid to eat and drink a little more than usual because you are using it up.

Yes, the early nights will help, but you could try doing some light excercise each night before bed to really tire you out. This way you should fall asleep faster (so long as you don't do it like 10 mins before bed) and it will also clear your mind from whatever you have been studying that day, so that you are not worrying or thinking about that actively when you are in bed as that could lighten the quality of your sleep making you feel less refreshed.

Is there anything you have changed that could be disturbing you in your sleep?
It doesn't matter how long you sleep for; if you don't get enough deep sleep in a night then you won't feel refreshed the next day.
Are other people in the house or outside making noise after you go to bed that could be disturbing you? Is there excess light in your room, or anything that makes a quiet, but possibly disturbing noise, such as the heating or a charger? The smallest htings can keep you from getting deep enough sleep, but you won't notice it at the time, only when you wake up will you feel it.

Hey. Do you feel depressed at all? Negative thoughts, low self esteem, loss of interest in what makes you happy etc? Either way probably a good idea to see your councillor. They can help you identify the problem.
