They are ok by med school standards, the only issue is that they might not count the A*'s in the Btecs and the B in English might be a problem in some cases- for example UEA ask for 6 GCSE's at A Grade or above which must include Maths, two sciences and English. I suggest before you apply you check the GCSE requirements of universities.

Clearly they would be good results - the main thing that cold hold you back is not having at least an A in English - a few medical schools require this (e.g Birmingham).

if you want to know the specific GCSE requirements for each university, have a look at http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...E_Requirements

Your grades will get you into almost any med school, although 2-3 of them expect an A in English, so don't apply to them. See the GCSE requirements article in the wiki... http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...E_Requirements

Many uni's rank their applicants by scoring their best 8 GCSEs (or something similar) so you should get a good score. Check the 'applying using your strengths' article in the wiki.

    Good luck!
