f(x) is increasing if its derivative is positive (because then the gradient of the curve is positive). You need to differentiate f(x), and then find the values of x for which it is positive.

Hint - you will have a quadratic inequality. Don't sweat it - I did solomons A-F at least twice and E was the hardest one...
