How do girls find boys good-looking?

Hi this topic may sound a bit wierd, but i am a boy and naturally, find some girls good-looking attractive. I also do not find boys attractive and good-looking, so i was wondering why girls do? Lol, because a few girls have said i am good-looking but i just don't see why? Because i don't find boys attractive, therefore i don't know why girls do!

If some girls could give me some reassurance that some boys are good-looking. Thanks.

There's really no need to embolden that bit. Only morons would think any less of you if you did find boys attractive.

One thing I've come to learn about attraction is that a lot of it is not necessarily in appearance. Obviously, you will have many girls purring around an awesome looking guy, and vice versa, but a lot of it boils down to confidence and openness. I have known open, self-sure (don't read as opinionated/arrogant) guys have girlfriends, whilst their more physically attractive peers go without.

Anyway, you must be able to tell which guys are attractive and which aren't. It's not going to make you gay. I assume you aren't bewildered by the fact that Tom Cruise has more appearance points than, say, Wayne Rooney.

it's a fact we live with and doesn't really need to be analysed! next we're gonna be asking ourselves why some people are jealous of others- tis a fact of life and we just get on with it (and in the case of this thread- because it's enjoyable! if we all were attracted to the same thing the world would be a very dull place and we'd all be very mutated).

I know what he means, I find women attractive cause they are pretty nice to look at and I like it how they are open and can talk about emotional stuff. So why do girls find guys attractive??

I find it strange as guys 'tend' to be hard, rough, like you said and its just so odd that they would like something soft and cute (female), I mean most don't seem to pay attention to cute pretty flowers etc so why girls??
Also the other way round girls 'tend' like soft cute things like flowers etc and hate tough rough things and yet they like like guys :confused:

Well, apparently guys go generally for girls that have the kind of opposite qualities to them in terms of attraction. A guy with a very defined jaw line, stubble, broad shoulders, very muscular, ripped clothes, Uzi, the works ( :biggrin:

) would generally go for a girl with a very soft face, not very broad shoulders, and so on. And vice-versa.

It depends really. (I assume I'm allowed to answer pretending I'm a girl. :smile:

) I don't find the whole rugged men thing attractive. I find "cute" guys around my own age attractive. I've never fancied a celebrity or anything - they're all too old and fake and ugh. I know people, gay guys, bisexuals and straight girls, who find that attractive; I know people who find the opposite, or something in the middle, attractive.

However, much more attractive to me than looks - although looks are a big part of first impressions, but first impressions can easily be overridden - is personality. (Kind and accepting and loving, but not soft; proud and confident, but not arrogant; friendly, but not attention-seeking; intelligent, but not pompous (although I don't mean booksmart, I mean in terms of common sense - I could find someone who got straight Es attractive); generally fun, always willing to debate, not temperamental, not a complete psychopath, well, a bit maybe, and nice to be around. Is that so much to ask? ****, I just described myself... :eek:

) And sense of humour. And smiling. I couldn't fall for someone who didn't smile and laugh, or make me smile and laugh, sometimes. :smile:
