Duress is simple, 2 types which are obvious in the scenario (either an implied expressed threat or the situation D is in)and just think of six stages which D has to complete and only go into case law detail in a few which you think need to make an issue of like self induced or imminence.. It's so easy to take too long on defences and are only usually marked in clear/weak boundaries. Again with intoxication past exams rarely have gone into involuntary intoxication with property offences. And with this exam majority of property offences are at a basic intent leve(committed recklessly) so cases like Richardson and irwin are not needed!
The best thing to is to cut down your notes as much as possible (usually the facts of cases) and only include the ruling.. You won't loose marks this way and gives you a much better chance of remembering them and also having more time for concepts of law essays!
