I'm really struggling on how to answer animal farm questions. I'm doing the edexcel paper so I will have a question on characterisation, 2 on themes and one most likely on characters again.
Does anybody doing the same exam have any kind of structure for answering these questions? And also, do you gain marks for mentioning the russian revolution?
Not sure if anybody can help me, but I thought I'd ask

You won't necessarily gain marks for instantly mentioning the Russian revolution though if you write down why you mentioned it - context and if it fits in well it will allow your essay to be stronger, if the essay is strong thought you will gain marks. So yes, wherever you can make your essay as strong as possible
