I never did it in GCSE though. And I been out of school for 2 years.

Do I need to go back and get a GCSE in IT first before I take any college courses???

GCSE IT is a joke. Going straight to college will be fine. c:

Honestly IT is a simple subject. Its better to do a BTEC in college and sticking with that and deciding either to go university or getting an entry level job in IT sector. Starting out as helpdesk and progressing into more technical job. Many people manage to do well, sticking with BTEC course in IT. If you got enough C's in GCSE, I suggest doing the full Level 3 BTEC course in IT or doing A level's in Computing or IT. Either that or starting on level 2 BTEC and progressing toward level 3 than deciding on your options.

GCSE in IT is useless and is not as great as you think it is, I never done any IT and manage to do okay at level 3 BTEC in it.
