    Hiya everyone
Im currently doing my gcses and I feel like I'm under so much pressure because my parents especailly my dad are expecting me to get A*a and automatically assume that I want to be a doctor
I come from a very strict background where reputation in the family matters and so if I get bad grades tge whole family will compare me to other relatives and be ashamed
I really can't do with the pressure and the stres anyone in the same situation or anyone who can help me ;(

    Hey,

Talk to your parents about it. I know its not easy but tell them that you feel under pressure. They think they are helping but they are not really.

I know how you feel, I just ignore what other relatives think about me. It's your choice on what you want to do as a career not what your parents want to do.

Stay strong and good luck with your exams!

You can only do your best.. tell them that putting you under pressure can only make things worse

It sounds like your parents are doing the worst thing they can when it comes to support for exams. You need to tell them how you feel, otherwise nothing will change. Even if it doesn't make a difference, at least you tried.

In the meantime, you need to concentrate on what you want to achieve. Do you know what you want to be? Do you have personal goals in particular subjects that aren't based on what your parents want?

If not then I suggest you think about that, because what you do and what you get is completely your choice. If you don't get the grades they want or don't want to become a doctor, your parents can't change that.

If so, then set your heart on those goals rather than your parents.
