    An excellent paper on research bias i thought i'd draw your attention to.

    tl:dr - Every single member of the mood disorder and schizophrenia panels (i.e. the drug-heavy psych disorders) was receiving financial support or direct employment from drug companies that manufacture antidepressants and/or antipsychotics. Every single member of those panels has a flagrant conflict of interest.

    I think its incredible that such obvious bias can go undeclared in this day and age. People who do the kind of research drawing attention to this deserve so much more credit.

    Cripes, this is worrying, even if I don't know much about medicine. Comparable to the differences in findings carried out by anti-smoking organisations, tobacco companies and independent groups.

    In the next edition, I think talking about DSM panels having a conflict of interest may become a psych disorder... :rolleyes:
