What does it consist of? I've never done any coding or anything like that so will I be fine. Also are there any resources that will give me a head start

You haven't given much detail as to what exam board your collage use but I'll go off my experience. I went with AQA for those interested.

Programming is obviously a key component in the exam, but you'll be fine without knowing a language to start with. You are taught one of your schools choice to a good level by the end of the first year. This also comes with a large amount of theory in how computers work in general.

During the second half knowing a programming language will be more important that the year before as you will be expected to produce a computer project as part of your coursework. However, you do not need to be amazing with programming to get a good grade... As long as you can create a convincing write-up you'll be fine.

You can always check the AQA website for the specification: http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects/AQA-2510-W-SP.PDF

If you have any specific questions you can PM me and I'll be happy to try and answer them for you.
