So, first thread guys  !

Paper 1B for Edexcel iGCSE Biology next week, any revision tips or ideas of the main sections that the test will concentrate on which haven't come up recently?

Does anybody know any good youtube channels / websites or references which can help with the exam?

I know for english there is a site called 'mr hoyes' which has an analysed anthology and advice on exam structure etc. and was wondering if there was anything similar for Biology? (or any other igcse subjects for that case?)

I've noticed with answering the 6 markers on investigations you can use the cormmss method, other tips similar to this would be a great help!

    Cheers y'all.:badger:

This is an interesting one my friend told me about for remembering ventilation movements during breathing:

    DIPVA

    which stands for

Diaphragm Movements - Flat or Dome Shaped
Intercostal Muscles - Which ones are contracting etc.
Pressure - What the pressure is like inside the thorax compared to outside
Volume - Volume of chest cavity expanding or decreasing
Air Flow - In or out

    Hope this helps, helped me
