I am trying to cite a poem, which has no title.
It is not that I do not know what it is, I have the Selected Works in front of me, but this poet does not usually give his poems titles.

    Any help?

Is it from an anthology of poems? You could quote the collection name...

Hmm. You could use part of its first line or the whole first line as a stand-in for a title. Whatever you do your markers will probably be pretty forgiving provided you're consistent.

Thanks, I think I will probably go with the first line. Consistency is probably the key.
