    Are you happy with the area being proportional to the frequency?

    (b) Freq Density x class width = 5 x 20 = 100
    (c) Same formula again but apply to 3 rectangles
    8.6x10=86 (is it pointing to 8.6?)
    6x10=60
    5x20=100
    Total = 246

    b) Number of students between 60 and 70 seconds is 90. 10 x 6 = 60. 90/60 = 1.5 = k

    Now for the 40-60 bar, 20 x 5 = 100

    Since k is 1.5 we have to do 100 x 1.5 = 150

    c) (8.6x10) + (6x10) + (5x20) = 246

    x 1.5 = 369
