I received emails stating that I need to apply to ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme), being an international physics student. I have filled out all the information on the online form, but when I try to submit it, all that happens is the page reloads (and the characters in the image change). I'm not sure what to do.

Are you at the registration stage? The only browser I know that it works with is Internet Explorer.

That is the same thing i faced, its due to the browser you use (i was using Firefox).
I switched to IE and everything went fine, without a hiccup.

    Hi

I have applied for my ATAS on 15 August 2013, and on 05 Sep 2013, ATAS mailed me for additional information required.
Though i have provided requested information on same day. The problem is today is 20th working day and still I haven't received ATAS certificate, nor any update from them.

Does anyone has any idea regarding how long will it take to get my ATAS, as i have provided them missing information on the same day they have requested.

    Please Help Guys !!!

    Thanks

Generally its taking anywhere between 25 working days to 60 working days too. (I got it on 48th working day i think if i remember)

So there is no exact day or date that i can give you at this time... all i can suggest is get in touch with your uni and ask them to intervene on your behalf and it works out faster.

Hey. I've been having issued with registration. Tried using IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari.. Every time I try to register it says "Application Error", and that email I'd becomes unusable.

    Anyone else facing these issues?

I have been filling up the online form for ATAS certificate. When I came to the step of employment history I couldn't go any further because there is no option as such of no employment history like there was in no education history. I am a student so I have no employment history. Is there a way around or any solution?

The technical fault that prevented students from submitting ATAS applications between 23-28 May has been resolved. It is now possible to complete and submit ATAS applications once more. This may mean re-starting your application. If you have emailed [email protected] to express concern about this, please be aware that, due to the large volume of enquires in relation to the issue, you may not receive a direct response. We regret any inconvenience caused.

Bank holidays and school half terms and all that kind of stuff :sadnod:

People often go on holiday at this time of year - especially with all the sunny weather the UK has been having.

I got the ATAS certificate in 20 working days but I got an email from the university stating that there is an error in the course name. I don't remember how i entered it and I am not sure in whose side the fault is. I have emailed [email protected]. will they correct it ? My course starts by April first and I need to apply for my visa.
