    Hi i am currently doing my science c/w on the cooling of water in a copper beaker nd my hypothesis is :

    the lower the volume of water the faster it cools

    i have been asked t do a quantitative prediction or graph and i have no idea what that is!!!

    please help me out and tell me what that is or give me an example pleeZ!

    All about surface area of the volume of water, obviously the less the volume the faster the rate of loss of heat, because large surface area to volume ratio. For conduction, radiation etc.
