    Hi, I'm doing the M2 module in a few weeks and haven't really understood projectiles so my teacher gave me some physics questions to do, I don't do physics so could someone who does please tell me where I'm going wrong in these questions?! Thanks! Sorry about the bad quality, my camera flash isn't working at the minute! Name: phys.jpg

    not sure if M2 is any different from my physics course,
    but i do it by basically doing SUVAT in the horizontal and vertical direction,

    Vertical
    initially
    S=o
    U=depends
    V=depends
    A= acceleration due to gravity
    T=depends

    horizontal
    inittially
    S=0
    U= speed at which projectile is fired at
    V=depends on air resistance, usually the same as U
    A= depends if there is air resistance, usually 0 though
    T= same as that as the vertical equations

    hope it helps

    I didn't exactly whip my calculator out and check your mathematics, but all the steps you've taken seem to be correct.

    I do wonder though, what is it that you don't understand? You seem to have a good grasp of what's going on in that problem.
