    Hi,

I don't know how much depth to go in but basically:

*Did terrible during a-levels, really didn't have the correct work ethic to get any decent grades
*If it's relevant, I don't actually know what grades I got for my AS year, I didn't want to find out, but I guess now I might contact my former college and find out so I can enter them in the UCAS(AFAIK you have to enter them)
*Dropped out end of first year, applied for an apprenticeship which said it would do a BTEC in IT(specifically software development) in 12-14 months
*Assumed I wouldn't be eligible to apply for 2013 intake, 'wasn't planning on going to university anyway because my work offers the opportunity to progress onto a work-based degree
*Came to several realisations that lead to me wanting to go to University and study full-time
TL;DR: *The BTEC should be finished in June and sent off, but the modern apprenticeship qualification won't be finished until late September? I don't know if these qualifications are inter-dependent or not. I don't know if you can apply to uni independently without having actually completed the qualification? I don't know if there is a cut-off data for the relevant qualifications being certified?

I really don't know at this point how supportive my work place would be of me wanting to go to University instead of staying on.

There are courses in clearing I would like to do. I'm mainly looking at software engineering or computer science courses. The past 10 months I've been doing software development client work and became really enthusiastic about programming.

    Thanks.

I think October is the final date that you will be able to apply for 2013 intake, bear in mind however there will be fewer courses still available at this time.
