    whta is solvent extraction ? i know ethoxyethane is used as a solvents how does the liquild get extarxted and why is co2 a better solvent?

    Simply put, its when two immiscible sovents are shaken together. One of them has the solute which passes on to the other solvent that hasBETTER capability of dissolving it. Since they are immiscible so the solute cant go back and is extracted.
