So my ex boyfriend and I broke up just over a year ago after going out for 6 months. We grew apart a bit but since the beginning of Year 13 we've become quite close again. He still loves me and has told me so. We have most of our lessons together and are in the same friendship group so I see him everyday. I'm really confused as to what I feel because I find it really easy to flirt with him and yet I have feelings for another guy in our year. I don't really know what to do because I don't want to ruin our friendship and yet I think I should say something because I feel as though I'm leading him on. Help please???

Be honest with him. You owe it to both him and yourself.

That you're not interested in getting back together with him and you don't want to lead him on, it's unfair to either of you.

At the end of the day, he will be more thankful about you telling him the truth rather than you leading him on
